Creating a Work-Optional Culture with Jason Glisczynski

More About This Episode:

It’s easy to talk about work-life balance but it’s much more difficult to back that up with action. Today’s guest is someone who has prioritized that balance through the use of work optional days built into the calendar.

In this episode, we’re spending some time with Jason Glisczynski, CFP®, CAS®, who has been in the financial services industry for nearly 20 years. He realized early in his career that he didn’t want his work to be transactional but rather relationship-based.

That’s what led him to launch Silvertree in 2018, which is a boutique wealth management firm known for providing their clients with leadership and support to take care of the things that are important to them. They use a virtual family office (VFO) business model to service their clients, and the structure they’ve put in place really emphasizes the balance we all talk about having.

Join us today as we discuss these things:

· How he got into the industry and eventually to Silvertree. (1:19)

· Installing this work-optional culture to his business. (3:34)

· His methods for successful growth. (9:01)

· How does he find and attract strong employees? (11:43)

· Why his cell phone is his biggest enemy. (13:13)

· The biggest issues he sees for people in the industry (25:01)
